6th Ya. B. Lopatynsky International
School-Workshop
on Differential Equations and Applications
Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University
June 18-20, 2019
Vinnytsia, Ukraine
Dear colleagues!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 6th Ya. B. Lopatynsky School-Workshop on Differential Equations and Applications. This Meeting continues the series of regular international conferences for young scientists which were initiated by the team of Differential Equations Department of Donetsk National University since 2006.
The Meeting has School-Workshop format and will be held in Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University, Vinnytsia, from 18 to 20 of June, 2019. Program will include plenary lectures of main speakers, sectional and poster talks of young participants.
This series of Meetings is dedicated to the outstanding mathematician, talented pedagogue and organizer, Academician of NAS of Ukraine, Yaroslav Borisovich Lopatynsky. He was a founder of two Departments of Differential Equations, in Lviv National University (1953) and in Donetsk National University (1966). He also founded the Department of Partial Differential Equations in the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of NAS of Ukraine. The geography of this series of Meeting is very wide and includes the Сenter, the East and the West of our country (previous conferences were held in Lviv (2010), Donetsk (2006, 2008, 2012) and Kyiv (2016)). This is symbolic, because the mathematical community should be united. Especially we should be united in our quest to establish fruitful creative relationships between various mathematical communities not only in our country, but around the world, in our quest to improve the connection of Ukrainian mathematical science to the world. The life and work of Ya. B. Lopatynsky were devoted to this noble objective.
This year we invite you to visit Donetsk National University, which after relocation restored the potential in Vinnytsia. We expect to bring together the experienced (“state-of-art”) researchers, leaders of scientific areas, young scientists, PhD students and all, who are interested in Differential Equations and their various Applications, who want to find synergetic connection between fundamental and applied research.
We will be glad to meet you in Vinnytsia!
With best regards,
Organizing Committee
